B series into EM1
yes, I know the title sounds stupid, but I picked up an EM1 that had a D16Y8 swap in it(yes, I know what kind of stupid person does that) for a fairly decent price. anyways, I bought a B18b swap for now. the D series is long gone and I'm ready to drop in the B18. just had a few questions. I have all the necessary parts to drop it in such as the 99-00 Si T Bracket, 99-00 Post Mount, new B series axles, ITR shift linkage, and the half shaft, etc. anyway my question was if I am missing anything, which I don't think I am, just need some reassuring and also was wondering if I can use the stock mounts I have. the pictures I provided are exactly how the car sits right now, thanks a lot.
don't mind the missing mount, I recently bought it new.

Re: B series into EM1
Still would'nt use d series mounts for my "b swap" that's what i'm trying to get across. it's hard to find a pic of an em1 bay that HASN'T that shows the integra style(b series mounts) mounts.
or OP has been tricked into buying an EM1 I swear the mounts are different.

That's your opinion though, OP asked if he could use the mounts he had on hand. Answer is yes he can, because they are the same exact mounts that his car came with from the factory.
Not trying to tell you you're wrong, because yes he can upgrade mounts.

Re: B series into EM1
But the EM1 driver side engine mount is the same, P/N 50820-S04-013, as all D16Y8 and D16Y7 engines. I am not talking about the post mount that attaches to the front of the engine block, of course that will be different from B series to D series. But the actual engine mount that attaches to the body is exactly the same for all 96-00 Civic's.

The post mount is the same as well. All are S04 parts.
You're only partially right. 92-95 civics/sols with d16z6 or b16's had the fluid filled aluminum mount that all 94-01 integras had. Lower model civics had the simpler all rubber mount.
96-00 civics are technically a different chassis and should not really be compared to the earlier civic and 94-01 integras.
That being said, check the part numbers again. Maybe they were different at one time and the numbers have superceded, but as of today all 96-00 civics use the two post S04 drivers mount.
That mount does suck though, I only reused it because I couldn't justify another $400 or whatever it is for a set of Hasports when I did my swap last year.
