Default B series in the EG... why is my car so low?

so i recently dumped a b18c in my 94 del sol S right... running h&r race (for an EK) springs on koni yellows. why the hell did my car drop another 1/2 inch in the front if not more? how much of a difference in weight is the sohc and the dohc? my 205-15- 50/55 (cannot remember this #) rubs my fender well everytime i hit a bump or go up a driveway.

you need to change your springs. springs for the DOHC are different from the SOHC one.

when byuing springs dont just look for the brand. ask for sohc or dohc whichever kind is your car.

I've read that the B18 is about 310 lbs w/ tranny.

I've also read that a D series is a bit less than 200.

how do you know what springs are for DOHC? I bought some tein springs for my car but now I'm doing a b18 swap. How would I know what kind of springs mine are? I bought them with the car.

I have a eg hatch with integra h&r race springs and I have a sohc motor and I didn't think it would be low, I have a one finger gap in the front and back on 205/50/15. But one thing I did notice is that the ride is kind of stiff.

Whoever mentioned the DOHC springs simply meant Integra. You might want to refer to your receipt to see what springs you bought. Most likely someone sold you the springs for your actual car.

i just purchased springs off and integra 94-00 race springs. the thing im concerned about is the rear.... i like the 2.3 inch drop in the rear. 1.75 is what the integra springs will drop my rear.

anybody got an eg with the rears for an integra running on 15s
