b-series EG guys I need your help to mesure something for me...
Ok so I am having a hard time with some Hasport mounts I bought for a customers car, it seems that the driver side one is TOOO short and not reaching the hole on the chassis and I know it is the driver side mount cause the tranny, rear, and both vibration mounts bolt up fine... I need someone to measure the distance from the center of the driver side mount bolt to the timing belt cover and take a picture and post it up here..
Im getting a 3.5 inch from the timing belt cover to the center of the bolt hole on the mount but geting 4 inch from the timing belt cover to the bolt hole on the chassis.

no, there is no way to bolt it up upside down... it seems they sent me the wrong mount but before I call and make a fuss I want to make sure.

just measure from the timing belt cover right next to the bracket out to the middle of the mount hole.. and let me know if it is 3.5inch or 4inch...

The ef post will be the same, the mount will be different. unless i was having an out of body experience i wanna say that i had trouble throwing my ls w/ a 2000 si post into my eg, and when i swapped out the post w/ an ls post one was stamped "2" and one was stamped "3", the ls post worked perfectly. The motor was in an ek w/ a 2000 si stock mount and post before my car.

Than you very much egsleepercivic I think it I may have the wrong tranny mount then.. the swap is a b16a2 em1 motor, I am using the stock em1 motor bracket but they sent me a mount kit so that I can run that post mount. so Im going to try a stock dc2 tranny mount and see if I can get them all to bolt up. thanks HT.

Eg/dc b/d series mounts are all identical, that won't change anything. You have the wrong driver side mount.

no I do not think so, mine measured out the same as egsleepercivic, 3.5 inch and i Just unbolted the tranny mount and can now bolt up the rear mount and motor mount just fine and the tranny mount is now too short, Calling HAsport in a little bit.

have you considered the bracket bolted to the timing belt side of the motor? it is different between cars.
if it is an em1 motor into eg.. then you need the integra cast iron bracket that i'm talking about.. someone correct me if i'm wrong.
as i know for my ek swaps you must use the em1 bracket. i believe it is the opposite for eg swaps (you must use dc bracket). not 100% on this.

You need the three bolt post for the dirver side, if you are using the two bolt post from the em1 then its not going to line up correctly

everything lines up perfect now, the tranny mount was a defective one so for now I am using the DC2 tranny mount well Hasport sends me a new mount.
