Default B-Series Dizzy Question..

This is the cyp sensor correct? and can this part be replaced?

not sure what kind of sensor that one is, but it is 100% replacable

i changed mine, i had another distributer to rob the part from though so i don't know a price on one or anythin. there will be two wires coming out of it that go through a rubber seal and to one of the the two plugs. i believe they're the only two solid colored wires. cut them just before the plug and pull them through the seal. remember to leave enough wire from the plug to connect the new one. i was able to cut the wires on the new one and push them back through the seal, then i soldered the wires and put some heat shrink tubing over it.

anyone know a part number or anyway i could get it thru honda, or would i have to rob one from a spare?

Honda does not sell just that sensor. You have to buy the whole $250 sub-assembly which includes all 3 sensors.

oh and the one i robbed it from was from a d16z6 distributer, and went into my b18c and it worked just fine, havent had any problems with it.
