No. A D series compressor is made by Sanden. A B series compressor is made by Nippondenso. The suction and discharge hoses are different and so is the compressor bracket. You can just bolt up your old D series compressor to your B series engine by getting a bracket from the Del Sol or CRV. I'd get the CRV bracket because it's cheaper. I don't know the part number. Maybe someone else will post it for you. In order to get the B series compressor to work, you must get a bracket from a 99-00 Si and also buy new suction and discharge hoses. This will be a lot more work than just getting the correct bracket.

ok what year should i get it from a CRV and will i need a different series belt? or use the same?

Any CRV with the b20. (up to 01 I believe). The belt should remain the same.
