B series axle question?
I treid to search and it is not working... my question is- I have a knocking noise when I first start to drive.(almost like someone is hitting my suspension with a small hammer) it sounds like axles. But it doesn't make niose when I turn. only when I back up and when I first start off driving.(normal driving)
I grabbed my axle (where it connects to my GSR tranny)(both sides) and moved it up and down.(maybe an 1/8th of an inch) I think I have too much play where the axle goes into the tranny. Now is there supposed to be play in the axles? Or is that normal? Or could it be my tranny? On a side note... when me and my friend put the tranny in we noticed that the spline (I think that is what it is called) had a little movement. When you grabbed and turned it back and forth. It would make a slight noise. (like a knock) But it still moved freely.
P.S. I have a 94' eg. Not sure if this is the correct forum to be in? If it is not will a mod put my thread in the right one? TIA

Running stock axles. and I just started to notice it about a week ago.

Is there any way to check that?
