B.A.R. Question (california ppls)
I'm just wondering if anyone has a B.A.R. sticker with a B20 swap. I heard it can not be done, because the B20 is out of a "truck"
Not trying to get info about how-to do it, just want to see if its been done.
Thanks
Alex

Re: B.A.R. Question (2.0L EK)
your best bet is to call the ref and ask him yourself...
most of the time the net is full of people re telling what they 'heard'
call the ref and find out yourself..some care and some dont..

That all of the B20's and 21's. Only 2 are from CRV so the other ones can be barred.

I asked about the B20 when i went for my BAR test. If you grabbed the B20 from a CRV then your screwed because it wont pass. Stupidest thing ever but it wont because its from a truck.
True there is a B20A5 thats in the 89-91 (i think) preludes, but if thats going in a 92-00 car you know that wont pass anyway, so why bother?
Bottom line you cant pass the B20 motor. I was thinking of doing a CRVTEC so i was asking questions and the ref said no. Also no to LS/VTEC and anything frankenstien like that.

True. I think you could pass the old Prelude B20 into an 88-91 Civic.

Re: B.A.R. Question (2.0L EK)
your best bet would be to get a sticker for a b18b and just toss back the b20 when you get your sticker. Cops won't care for **** if you have a sticker.

I already have the B20 in my car. trying to sell it. The potential buyer had a question about smog.
