b-pipe bolt up problem (B16A in EG) . Need answers
I can't bolt up the B16A(1st gen) b-pipe to the stock cat. in my brother's 93 civic EX. The flanges are set differently so that the bolt holes don't line up. They're off by about 60-90 degrees. The length looks good though, if not just a little bit short.
Has anyone else come across this problem, and what did you do to fix it?
cut the flange, rotate it, and reweld it?
buy a different catalytic converter?
I need help here! Swap's completed and the car runs great, but without the exhaust hooked up, it's too loud to drive....

That's weird. I thought that end of the cat was just a triangle bolt pattern. Guess not
Is it a two bolt flange that's rotated the wrong way? I'd just get a muffler shop to cut the exhaust flange off and weld on a new one.
