B to D series ignition coil?
 

Basically I just swapped a JDM B16 into my 95 CX and the distributor is bad. I know that for a fact because I'm currently running on my friend's dist. just fine.
My question is since I'm broke (and didn't buy the motor from a shop), can I take the good electrical parts from my D series dist. and put them into my B series dist.? Since I can't afford a new or reman dist. and I can't use my friend's forever either, is this possible or not. And yes I searched.

you should be able to. i put a coil from my obd1 CX into a obd1 b16 dizzy
