Default Azenis in front or rear?

Hey I have a pair of Toyo proxes fz4's and a pair of Falkens, do you guys reccomend putting the azenis in the front of rear? My suspension consists of a set of GAB revolution coilovers and a 22mm rear sway.

if they're the same size and width: if you have understeer, put the stickier ones in the front. or put the wider or larger wheel in the back unless you plan on dragging.

Civic's are front wheel drive cars. Put the stickier tire to the front.

um dont know about you but oversteer is easier to play with than understeer is.

Stickier ones definitely in the front, thats where everything happens drive and steer.

For safety, I would put the stickier ones on the rear. I would rather understeer than oversteer in an emergency situation.
No.
in the event of an emergency you want the superior braking of having stickier tyres upfront. the end.

Put the sticky ones up front, I'm currently running Toyo Highway tires in the back and azinis up front.

ok, I am sure that I will rub w/ the azenis up front. i think i'll put the Toyo's up front because the azenis make the steering feel sloppy.

Wait why would you have the stickier tires up front, then you cant have them mad burn outs. I say go get yourself two spare tires and put them up front for some massive smokage.

Read the post dumbass. The reason I'm putting the Azenis in the back is because it is a wider tire, and the azenis don't have good steering feel. I hate people who post stupid comments just for the hell of it.

Front and Back is my choice as well. IF you had to I'd put the azenis on the back no it won't make you corner better it'll be safer as the car would push first. You put the azenis in the front those corner monsters will make you very loose in corners.

Buy another set there cheap!

put the azenzis in the rear... i was running my 205/40/17 so3's in the rear and 185/65/14 blizzack snows in the front for alittle while and my car was still great, you need to keep the back planted more than the front imho, otherwise you will get cocky thinking the front is gripping so much and push your car harder than it can handle.. this is esp critical in the rain.

I had the same dilema. Save up and buy the other 2 Azenis, trust me.

I have autocrossed with them in the front, AND in the rear. When you have them in the front, the Civic drifts like a ****. It's fun, but you run slow times. I ran faster times with them in the back, but had 100x more fun with them up front.

Your next purchase should be 2 more Azenis.

Im definately advocating buying the other 2 azenis...well worth it! I run them daily, and the only thing about them I dont like (I have the Azien Sport) is that they are LOUD!!!

My exact reason for my statement above the thread. I went from mid pack to upper class in my region, for Street tire index as well as SM which is a heavily AutoX Race compound group.

since those azenis are wider, put them in the back for better steering feel...in my opinion, its better to have over steer than understeer; because you have use it as an advantage. if you get caught with the rear end kicking out, let off the brakes or hit the gas. IMO

i love taking a corner and feeling the back nimble and light, makes me feel like i have control of the entire car. but thats at high speed i would want it to push, or else you have no hope dodging freeway debris... haha.

Put the bigger tires in front.
No matter what brand or compound....
If the rear starts to come around, as it should anyway imo,
don't let off, push the go pedal and slowly unwind the wheel....
Anyone here actually race?
[Edit] Even if there is less steering feel, the Azenis will generate more grip...better tire.

Lapping events and Auto X. The car is setup for street use. I don't know about you but I don't want my tail going around anywhere in city driving conditions.

Condtions that happen on the street are nothing like anything on a track or a race event. So to even compare the two together is not the best idea.

i wish i raced...have a sol and no money...

I heard in autox, you dont ever use 3rd, so speeds are light. so oversteer is a must. on the freeway, you are gonna probbaly hit 100 or so, and over steer at that speed is dangerous.

I didn't bother reading the other useless posts but DO NOT RUN THE TIRES IN THE FRONT!!!

Forget about "hooking" up y0.

You will spin your car if you do not have 4 matching Azenis tires. if you can't afford 4 put the two in the REAR. This will prevent you from spinning. (rear breaking loose) in a turn.

I went to a track day with a friend and he only had two Azenis in the "front". Out of 50+ cars he was the only person that spun out and did it 6-7 times. His instructor thought he sucked until the next day he ran all four OEM tires and was fine.

You will spin out and either hurt your car, yourself or others [edit] if you have to make an evasive manuver as a daily driver[edit]

Don't be stupid and listen to these other "racers". It's not safe plain and simple [edit] as a daily driver[edit].

Thanks Trey, that's the info I was looking for. I might just buy all 4, and sell the two toyo's.
