Default azenis 205/50

I'm pickin up some azenis this week and i've heard their awesome for handling and even good in the rain. Only down side to them is cant use in the winter. I was wondering how many of you have used them on your civic.

I figured this didn't need a search and was just wondering what people thought about the present in general.

Thanks, John

honestly you should just do a search. there is 100's of topics about them.

i have them, love them, and will never use anything else on my 93 hatch for street/track use. they are not the best for drag racing but oh well. they are sick in the handling end. and the price is right.

for azenis's

they have a VERY STIFF sidewall. this make them prone to wheel hop which is a big no no for your launches. ive pulled 2.1's on them, but just make sure you have a well tuned suspension.

oh yeah, they dont need to be heated up to stick like a ****. they stick great when not heated.

i had nitto 450's before my azenis's and th efalkens are much better in the rain. im sure when they get wore down some more they will be worse in the rain. they seem fine in the wet, but just look out for standing water. but thats just common sense.

azenis are good tires esp. in dry conditions. in the rain you have to take it easy; they do ok but not as good as the S03's. never use them in winter

I've had mine for about 7 months and have really bad camber wear. That's completely my fault. Other than that, they've been great. I've never had a problem with them in the rain. I wouldn't want to drive through standing water any more than I could avoid it on any tires, and if you're driving aggresively on wet roads, you are an idiot and that is not the tires' fault. There are definitely better tires for wet driving, but to me, they don't seem as bad as some people make them out to be. I have never slid, locked up the brakes, or lost control in the rain with the Azenis. See, the Azenis have incredible dry grip, you just have to tone it down a bit in the rain, no big deal, just drive safely. Sorry for the novel, hope it helps.
