axles keep on popping out
my passenger side axles keep on popping out once in a while when i abuse my car, it's a 94 civic si hatch with gsr swap b16 tranny, stock axles, Action 2md unsprung clutch six puck with fidanza light weight flywheel. any idea why, is my clutch too strong?

i'm using avid racing mounts on my driver and back, but i'm using stock mount on my tranny side. locking ring, i'll look into that. real problem is that now my axles don't break, but it keeps on popping out, i think if it doesn't pop out, it would break though.

what makes you think that?
i know on my 2md setup the axles don't pop out and they don't snap...

your clutch has nothing to do with your axles.
OP - your issue could be related to you mounts. if your engine/transmission arent linking up properly then your axles will not be straight enough to function properly. they will bind up and do 1 of 2 or in your case, both things. Break or pop out. your cars alignment will play a role in this as well.

weird, on mine it does. when i first floor it from first to second, the axles snap. after that,i put a new axles on, and floor it, it pop out, and i put it back in. drives fine, then today, i decided to floor it again and it pops back out. don't know what could be wrong, but the 2md unsprung clutch does pound like crazy though, i also have a fidanza light weight flywheel with it as well.

Re: (lilo_goki)
check
1. ALIGNMENT
2. ENGINE PLACEMENT WITH MOUNT
i have a stage 5 CC in my built 200+ whp ITR with stock axles and a LSD ITR trans. i have NEVER broken an axle. radials, street tires, slicks. Ive run many turbo and NA cars on both slicks and radials. never once breaking an axle due to parts failure. its always been something ive done wrong.

Re: axles keep on popping out (lilo_goki)
i'd check the ring on the end of the spline section of the axle, the other thing the comes to mind is if you're actually putting them in all the way. it's an all or nothing sort of thing, if they're out just a little, you'll just rev and not move

my motor alingment is good, i use to have a ls in it and it doesn't brake axles, i'm thinking it's my alingment then, since i just swap shocks and coilovers, whenever i shift, my car would lean toward my passenger side, so i'm thinking that's the problem. i'll get alingment and see if that's the problem. thanks ht.

when i shift from first to second, my car bounces(redlining), could it be i need traction bar? also if it bounces/hop like that, would it break my axles.

if your redlining it of course the cars going to bounce but you shouldnt be shifting on the actual redline anyway.
Plenty of other people have similar setups and dont have traction bars or problems so its got to be something wrong somewhere.
did you get an alignment yet?did you have this problem before you swapped coilovers?

on my other motor, i didn't have any problem but that's with a clutch master stage 1 clutch. now i have a action six puck unsprung clutch and it's too harsh. not all cars bounce bad, mine hops a couple of times. and no i didn't get alignment yet, but when i had my other motor and clutch, i didn't have it align it either and it was okay.
