axles are a breeze...
i recently changed out my drivers side axle - i thought it was going to be a pain - but it was a breeze...
1. i took the caliper off...caliper mounting bracket... 2.rotor 3.lower ball joint... 4. the joint you use to steer the car with.. 5.dropped my lower suspension are that hold the shock.. 6.and pryed the axle out of the midshaft... 7.found out i had 93 teg axles... 8. bought 94 teg axles 9.callin autozone finding one in stock at 830 at night when the close at 9 10. putting axle back in the c-clip was a bitch... 11.putting everything back together 12.driving later that night start to hear funny noise.. 13.pull over take wheel off, damn dust cover hittin rotor.. 14. fixing that. 15.runnin an AWD eclipse down and passing him...priceless... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif |

Re: axles are a breeze... (Daniel)
you don't need to take the caliper or rotor off, just the bottom fork bolt, steering arm bolt, axle nut, and ball joint bolt and it all swings away. Worked for you so what the hay
