Axle Seal Leak
I have a 96 civic hatch with a B16 swap. The problem Im having is that I just took off my skunk2 coil-overs and put on stock suspension. Today the day after I did the work I noticed a pretty good sized tranny leak, so I got under the car to check it out. It turns out the gear oil is coming from the passenger side of the transmission, where the axle goes into the tranny. So I figure it's the axle seal, the only thing is that the seal is only about 8 months old. Would me putting the stock suspension on have anything to do with this?
Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated, also if you think its something else please let me know. Thanks in advance for the help.

No I just unbolted the dampener fork from the LCA, I didnt touch the axle. I was wondering if maybe the axle was moved a little bit when we were moving the hub around. I took a rubber mallot to the axle to try and tap it in if it had moved out. But im not 100% sure that the axle actually moved out though.

just replace the seal, no way in hell changing around a suspension would have any effect on that seal, driving around the block puts more stress on those parts then you could ever do with your hands

Yea I think Im gonna do that asap. I just think it's wierd that it was fine before but all of the sudden after I did the work on the suspension it starts to leak. But Im just gonna replace the seal and see what happens.
