Axle nut thread size
Does anyone know the axle nut thread size for a 92 hatchback? I'm looking for the size in mm X pitch. I wanna buy titanium nuts for less unsprung weight.

the thread size, not the socket size.

LOL...you people don't realise that Ti is HEAVY...its verry verry strong, allowing things to be made with LESS material making it lighter....but something like a nut, that needs to be a creatin size anyway...aluminium is way lighter then Ti....

The nut is a 32mm but that is not the actual thread size
i.e. 10 mm head valve cover bolt is a 8mmx 1.0
what do you have against honda's nuts?
they work fine and I hope you dont care how they look get some center caps

hmm, maybe everyone should just forget about what i need the thread size for and respond if you know the size and pitch only. i don't need the socket size.

So Titanium nuts are going to remove 57% of how much? Four ounces? You going to be able to knock the divot into the axle keyway on a Titanium nut so it doesn't back off? Once that's done, are you going to be able to remove the divot when it comes time to change the axles? How much do they cost?
Just curious, but the measurement you need is right there

i appreciate it. my comment about wanting to use Ti nuts was merely to stir up some ****. anyway my axles don't have a keyway for the divot, they are DSS stage 5's, they have a hole for a cotter pin.
