axle installed right?
Hey guys, I replaced my axle last week, its been working good. When I backup and turn sharp right i hear a few weird sounds.. almost a click but not really, could it be something I did wrong or defective axle?
also the drivers side looks like about a 1cm space by the tranny.. I thought it was flush, could that have moved out? seems like there could be a little tranny fluid leaking out as well.. anyone else have this problem?
thx

Re: axle installed right? (nixadm)
1 centimeter sounds like it's a bit too much. Should be less than a half of one.
Did it click in place? Can you pull it out easily without a prybar? If you can, then you can be sure it's not seated properly. Just make sure, because you don't want it popping out while driving. You'll be stuck wherever you are, plus the axle spinning around under there probably isn't safe.
