axle coming out . . . . tranny going?
ok guys, heres the conditions, or symptoms rather
it starts off driving normal, but the rpms get tricky and tach crazy all over the place . . . . then you can actually feel the axle coming out, because im getting no power to the ground . . . . i replaced the whole axle assembly ( its the passenger side) and it was back to problems by that night . . . . . a local guru around here says its my differential . . . . and 2nd's being a bia due to my synchronizer. . . . however . . . I've been told i need a new tranny because replacing the differential and synchronizer would be more than it's worth . . . . so id like some advice, info, etc on what to do, or if theres a cheaper alternative
all this is in my 92 hatch with a 1.5 vtec zc motor and tranny . . . . ive priced a si tranny for around 350 . . . . . so what to to . . . . thanks

there is a snap ring or there is supposed to be one on the end of the splines. is it there? if it isnt thats why it keeps popping out. and if its not, you are in trouble too because it is probably getting munched up in the tranny.
