Axel question. B16a axle in a 97 HX
I bought this car already swapped. It is a 97 HX with a 99 b16a sirII engine. I went for some tires and the mechanic says my driver side axle is shot and they can't find a replacement part. They said mine has an axle that measures 28.5" and they could only find a 29". I told them to look for the 99-00 Si axles. I don't know if they did but they reinstalled my bad axle. Does anyone know which axle I need?
Thanks
Thanks

'99 - '00 Si or '94 - '01 Integra is normally what you want. The odd time someone will use a '90 - '93 Integra driver's side axle and intermediate shaft but the '90 - '93 driver's side axle has a male end on the inner joint, '94 - '01 Integra/'99 - '00 Si has a female end so it's easy to tell the difference.

Yes. Take it with you if you can. It's not unheard of to end up with axle that's too short or too long. It's not the wrong axle, it's just made wrong.
