Axel Question
I have a 93' si and I just was wondering what axel I need. (standard or w/abs). I looked on my gauge cluster and on my master cylinder and didn't see anything about abs... which one do I need? thanks.

You would need a single cam axel.. (sohc) they are all the same size, unless its the ZC dohc which is single cam applicable but not .. really LOL.. yeah so get the SOHC axel they are all the same unless im wrong

Either look at the axle or look under the hood. The outter CV will have a ring of teeth around it if its an ABS equipped car. It will also have an ABS control unit under the hood-A big metal box with lines coming out of it.

abs axles will work in a non abs car. but the reverse isnt true. did the axle you took out of the car have the exciter ring on it? if it did you have abs. if it isnt there you dont.
