Default Axel/Drive shaft compatibility issues

I’ve got a 1993 civic EG6 which used to be an ESI (I think that’s a D15) but some where along the line some one put a VTI (B16) lump in it. One of my CV’s went the other day, I ordered a full shaft for a VTI as I thought that would make sense but as you can see from the picture below (see link) they look very different. They are the same length, does any one know if I’ll be able to fit the new shaft in place of the old one obviously leaving out that mount/bearing thing?

Also the car is non-ABS so have ordered non-ABS shaft, after removing the shaft I realised that it used to be an ABS model but it not installed. Will the non-ABS shaft physically fit in the hub alright?

Link for pic of the shafts as below:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That longer axle looks like it's from a passenger (UK) side D-series axles. Pick up axles from a 3rd gen Integra and call it a day. What you need are B-series axles since you have a B16. EK4, EK9, MB6, EG6, EG9, and DC2 axles will all fit. The non-ABS axle will fit inside the hub without problems.

That’s some goon info all round, cheers mate. The thing is they're the same length just one of them has been taken apart. The new one is a B series axel, will it fit? ?

Nice, exactly what I wanted to hear! Especially as I hand imported this from the US! ! !

May be a silly question but why would there be D series axels there in the first place and if they work fine with a B series why does it make a difference?
