Aw Yeah Aw Yeah: Civic HX-T Project! (56k warning)
And it's started. But man ... let me tell you... dedication is one fuqed up thing.
So here's a brief rundown of what went on today. I drove twenty minutes out to my friends house, the FriendlyHandyMan around here, and basically ended up not leaving for Macon Georgia until what... like late Five O'Clock. Traffic ate up time in the Jetta, we went too many exits too far, and the guy had ALREADY Closed up shop. Imagine driving 2 hours just about to find out you came all that way for nothing.
Needless to say, I wasn't going home empty handed. I called him up and by some odd chances, we managed to get the gate open and he let me onto my prize.
A 1993 Honda Civic CX =P
The deal:
500 for the Civic you'll see in the pics below. That's 500 flat. I paid him 250 up front, and he won't see that other 250 until he gets me a clean title. But he's a car salesman and after speaking with him, I can fully trust him. I also have to return his CX motor to him... like that's a big deal.
The car's missing: Passenger window, Back window behind Driver's seat, a bit of the dash, and has water damage on the inside. And when I say water damage, I mean I had to get a QuickTrip cup and scoop it all out.
Not only that... we had to haul four tires there, take off my z6/EX dizzy and spark plug wires, and take out my EX battery because it was missing things.
But hell with 500 bucks... it was well worth it for what I got. Check it out.
Look closely at the floorboard of the driver's seat... yeah. That's a puddle of freaking water down there.
The back window busted out. No biggie. Rubber sealant and the stripping and we're up and running.
Look at that thing. =P Not bad for 500 dollars in my opinion.
Pimp Tight pose of us and a new friend, cool *** guy, next to the chrome wheels the seller had on the car. =P Bling Bling!
Hydraulic Ride Bling Action!
This is how we got the z6 dizzy to stay without drills and bolts... Zip Ties are your superior. =O
And a few pics of the nasty paint. But look.. No Honda Cancer in site. I was rather surprised.
Overall... even with having to drive the car back bogging and cutting off.. A TWO HOUR DRIVE... It was worth it. My friends helped me out alot and i'm glad I didn't give up on the seller.
Check my sig for motor plans. HX-T baybee!

Says he wants to put it in a 95 coupe. I don't care though..
It'll take a few days for him to get my title so by then he prolly wont' even want it back. I hope not. He said he'll pick it up though so, whatever. It's a CX motor. =P

I've got a guy sanding and priming for 100 dollars.
I've found tailights for 30 dollars.
Hx wheels are coming off of my car and hubs are going on my Four door which is being sold.\

Im still hunting for the back panel inside behind the driver seat. =P But I think i've gotten off toa great start in under 24 hours.
