Avon Tech M500 Tires?
At first glance I was thinking, "Avon Tech ... never heard of those tires before, they must suck."
As I clicked onto "test results" of the Yokohama AVS-ES100 tire on TireRack, they had a comparo of it vs. the Avon! I'm quite surprised at the results! http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...0.jsp Here's the tire btw: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...+M500 Looks like it slightly edges out the Yok's in almost every test, with the exception of being clearly better in the wet. I haven't talked to anyone who's had them on a Honda though. Anyone have any personal experience? -a |

That was all she had on the car. On the auto-x course I could beat my time in my [then] stock civic with her 2000 Corolla on star performers. Oh yeah, the Corolla was auto. You KNOW that's slow. I noticed a huge difference immediately. They felt very sticky and responsive...almost more so than my current tires (see sig). |
