Average price to replace clutch?
On a stock 2000 DX civic. Mines dying. That, coupled with a soon-to-be needed timing belt, I am thinking about just getting a new motor/tranny.

Re: Average price to replace clutch? (Nyceguy17)
If you're asking how much it's going to be to replace a clutch (with parts and labor) you may as well forget about getting a whole new motor/tranny to drop in. Labor on that is gong to be much higher than just a T belt and a clutch.
I'd probally charge 200 dollars to do a clutch. I'd probally charge about 200 dollars to do a T-Belt, but I've never gotten a dealer quote, so I may be high. But that's about what each job is worth to me in my time.

Re: Average price to replace clutch? (Ricey McRicerton)
I did my clutch with a couple friends, but got qouted around 300$ at the shop.
And with the reciept in hand, for a t-belt, cam seal and water pump to be replaced was $234.50 in labor, and the parts cost $165.16.
edit: this was on my 95 ex
