Default autometer guages

i've never seen any pictures of this before... has anyone swapped out all they're main guages in the guage cluster for all autometer units? i suppose it's a LOT cheaper to just swap in a vx/ex/si cluster, but i'm curious. think that would be bad ***.

what all would be involved in doing this in a 93 cx?

Default Re: autometer guages (nonvtec92)

As a matter of fact, there was a thread floating around a while ago where someone did just that. I don't think he had it all working correctly, and he lost some functionality (warning lights, etc.), not to mention the fact that it really didn't look all that nice. It seemed more like something that was done just for the sake of doing it, rather than to achieve some sort of improvement. I'll see if I can dig up the thread, but basically, I'd just stick to a factory cluster.

I found the link, but as you can see, it basically spiralled down hill pretty quickly: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1801430
