Autometer Gauges
What color does the autometer carbon fiber gauges light up?
Searched but could find any pics/info on the color. Thanks |
Re: Autometer Gauges (dizzyek)
Straight from Autometer:
"Gauges light up from an incandescent bulb, giving an "around the dial lighting." You can get them with different bulb covers for colored lighting, or LED's for a brighter light. http://www.autometer.com/img/products/4828_d.jpg |
anyone have pics of them on in the car

I should be an asshole and tell you to search but I'm feeling good, here's what I found on a quick google search. http://www.dieselmanor.com/autometer...full_illum.jpg http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...ata/500/12.jpg http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...ages/night.jpg Basically if you look it seems the most commons are light green, darker green, light blue, darker blue, and orange. I'm sure there are more but thsoe are mostly the diff colors I saw on a quick google search. |
Re: (Syndacate)
That really does not show the type of light put off by the CF gauges. Those are more of a "glow". The CF gauges use just a lightbulb at the back of the gauge.

Re: (.Red.EM2)
Weird, one of those is an LCD guage. Figured it'd be the same or similiar. Oh well, if he really wants to know http://www.google.com will tell him.

Re: (Syndacate)
The CF gauge looks kinda like the old Sport Comp and Pro Comp gauges back in the day.
Just a plain white illumination. But it does come with colored bulb covers for colored lighting. You can kinda get an idea..... http://www.itpdiesel.com/images/LEDs/LEDAnim.gif |
