automatic transmission shift point.
hello sirs,
I have a 99 civic vti with a 1.6l vtec automatic transmission, i want to make the transmission shift earlier to second, third, and fourth. or If possible to make it shift on comand like tiptronic. is there anyway to do this? ....... reason is to get better fuel economy ..... if i can shift at lower rpm rather than 2500rpm to go to third gear at 40 km/h.... please help

I don't think you could make it similar to a tiptronic, but I think with a chipped ECU you could change which RPMs your motor changes gears at.
