Automatic JDM cluster to Manual EJ1?
I spilled Acetone on my gauge cluster faces tonight, since i'm going to be replacing it (for the second time due to damage), i'm going to do something different. I'm looking at the "JDM" cluster, the automatic version is of course cheaper, but will there be any conflicts putting it into a manual harness? I'd assume not, but i rather be safe than sorry!

Re: Automatic JDM cluster to Manual EJ1? (JDM_Ej)
I wouldn't think there would be a conflict either, but maybe the automatic has extra wiring in the harness and the plugs won't fit?

You won't have any problems. It's plug and play. If your car was automatic, you'd have an extra plug for the gear lights on your harness. It won't affect the cluster if that is inserted into the cluster or not.
