Automatic 5th gen radiators?
I have a extra Civic radiator braket. I heard that the automatic 5th gens have a bigger radiator. If this is true is it a direct drop in to my 5th gen hatch?
TIA

to give you a straight answer, the auto civic radiator is the same dual core radiator found in the del sol vtec that has the dual core. Its a good upgrade.

no, the auto is a dual core but same length as the manual civic radiator. Unless honda changed production in the middle of the year because of a batch running out or something, but all the auto civics I've seen have been normal length but dual core.

yeah, it's the same size. just thicker...but not really thicker...
it's the same size as the top of your stock radiator...only it's that thick all the way through...if that made ANY sense....which I doubt.

yeah, the actual single core radiator is something like 3/8" or 1/2" thick while the dual core, auto civic and del sol vtec radiator is 7/8" thick.
