Autobahn light ?
This may not be traditional (or "JDM") but i am looking to install a rear fog light in2 my 98 ferio, i want to know if its worth drilling in2 my taillight and putting a bright bulb in next to the regular one or if there is someway to make the bulb already in there stay on the brighter element when i flick a switch on or something
or should i should put a seperate light like the jdm del sol's have somewhere on my trunk lid probably next to my licence plate.
im not all that great with wiring so if there is a way to make the existing bulb stay bright when i want and not when i dont than i would be interested in knowing how or where to find out.
i was thinking that it would look best in the taillight thats on my trunk lid (on the drivers side where it should go) but like i said i wouldnt know how to wire that bulb to stay on the brighter element when i want and not when i dont, with a switch.
any sugestions ??

Re: Autobahn light ? (skrewdriver88)
the german bulbs have 2 different "things" inside, you know what I mean...the one is for the normal rear light, the other one is for the rear fog light...don't you have them over there??

Hook up a switch to the brake light wire of the taillight that you want to light up, and then wire the switch to a power source. It's the same way people do tailgater lights (when you flick a switch to turn on all the brake lights to get people off your ***).
