Auto Turbo
Prolly goin 2 do the greddy 15G kit...93 LX AT..Was just wondering if since its a complete kit does it still need to be tuned or is it ready out the box? and also if it's an AT would there be any problem configuring the fuel map or anything like that?

Not if you want to make real power. The stock torque converter can only handle so much before it blows.
Just chip your auto ecu with a base map for boost and take it to the dyno ASAP. Theyll take care of the rest.

it should come with emanage or some form...but to tell you the truth its not even worth using....you are obd1...so just get it chipped and tuned so you dont blow **** up...its worth the money in the end...plus you will know exactly how much power you are making

Re: Auto Turbo (ThaCivicAssassin)
if you waste all your money on the greddy kit it comes with the crappy emanage with preset settings. and you can fine tune but you will need a wide band.to know your air fuels. and turbo automatics arnt so bad.. look at 300zx tt autos and tt surpras the automatics are faster becuz they dont lose boost in between shifts.

Re: Auto Turbo (jared50438)
Thats Great......Thanks 4 the info again My PPL but Im in CA. The only reason I say Greddy is because they're street legal......What does everyone else in CA with a Turbo do when its time 2 test? Or else I would have pieced somethin 2gether myself a year ago. And im not positive but I think only 96 and up were made with Auto Transmission Ecu's..could be wrong tho......

they are "street legal" but you still wont pass smog. and what "everyone does" in ca is either take it all out to smog and then put it all back in, or they get someone to pass them illegally.
