I have a b18b engine with a automatic transmission, I want to make the auto transmission to manual. I wanted to know how to do that. Need help. Also the car the engine is going into is a 92 civic hatchback that was previously manual. Please help.

Take off the auto transmission and replace with a manual one. You will need to replace the torque converter with a clutch/flywheel/pressure plate. You'll also need the slave cylinder right off the top of my head.

I have put in effort through the search with no results but my issue is I needed to know if I can just change the automatic transmission to a manual instead of having to buy one and just swapping it out with a manual. I am still decently new to the honda game an I apologize if the question isn't within standard for you.

So rather than replacing the autotragic with a proper transmission, you want to...convert the auto itself into a manual? You aren't being particularly clear. No. It doesn't work that way. Not even remotely.

I think what is being said here is that An auto is an auto and a manual is a manual.. The way you "change one to the other" is to take out one, and put in another.

There is a procedure on how to do this, and it is possible, but the parts themselves stay the same in and of themselves, and are changed.

If you like you can perhaps sell the auto trans when it comes out.

Now here's a random idea for all those that are electronic savvy and mechanically inclined..o
Create a shifter mechanism that looks/works like a stick shift but just switches through the auto gearing. Dumb idea, but if you can figure it out man I bet that **** would sell like hotcakes on EBAY!
