Re: Auto to manual... a project i know (96dxpower)
That thread is too damn large and has a lot of useless words.
Here is a simple and effective list of necessary parts:
-Manual Pedal Set (or just the clutch pedal and brake pedal)
-Manual transmission starter (d or b depending on your engine)
-Clutch Master Cylinder
-Clutch Slave Cylinder
-OEM or Aftermarket Clutch/Pressure Plate set
-OEM flywheel (d or b depending on engine)
-OEM shift linkage w/ hardware (if it is a b series sol, you need del sol vtec linkage, if its a d, any sohc sol linkage will do.)
-Stock Clutch lines (or custom lines if you decide to bend them yourself)
-Front Tranny mount (if you have a d, get the d mount, if b, get the b mount)
-Purchase an aftermarket top-side tranny mount (Hasport or HCP - I have an HCP I got from JDMshit.com - its been on for a year and has held up great. )
-p28 manual ECU
-Manual d-series tranny (including the plate that goes on the underside next to the oilpan)
That is all you need hardware wise(i will add anything if I see that I missed something).. The rest is installing the parts and doing the wiring, which I don't know of the top of my head, I wrote it down off a thread on here.. I will add it when I find it.
