Default Auto to manual gearbox mount for conversion in EJ

Ok now i know all about this and searched etc.. but still didnt find the information i really wanted, its for a d Series by the way...

what i want to know is which brands would you guys recommend i know of innovative mounts and i just really want to know if they are any good or not from people with experience with them.. as il be ordering it from overseas and its to be shipped to me in NZ and i really dont want to pay so much for a Possibly crap product...

Also looking at opinions on the AVID mounts aswell,

if anyone can point me in the direction of a good brand it would be great, and i know that i could remove the chassis rail mount off my donor car and weld all the crap on etc.. but it would just look a little messy and i want it to be tidy

Thanks,

Either one makes great mounts.

Is the app stock or not? If not, how much power do you plan on running on it?

If it's stock, a DIY mount would probably work fine .

After doing this swap a couple of times, I think you're better off getting the frame bracket off of a manual car and replacing the auto bracket that's on your car now. It's cheap and quick (assuming you have access to a welder).

The few times I've done it without moving the bracket, I used the Hasport mount because that's what the customer wanted. I don't see any advantage to hasport over HCP or any others though.

Yeah i thought of that one.. but you see i should have stated this earlier

i have a top fuel clutch which is really quite nasty for bite and i think that if i drill everything out etc the welds might come loose a bit and yeah (im pedantic i know)

and i still might possibly go down the turbo route (and yeah i know its just a D series) LOL

Once you reweld the bracket it won't break or come loose.
