auto to manual (eg)
ok guys i have a parts ex with a manual and all the goodies still on it and i also just bought a new 95 ex white the best condition of i've ever seen a civic in!!! mint! but it's an auto so i searched but couldn't find any diy posts for this swap i have all parts what else would i need i'm starting guess i will need a transmission conversion mount. but i might just wait and put a b18a1 in there considerign i can get it for $300 used so what would i need if i was to do that nothing special right? just do it like a regular swap i'm guessing thanx guys

yup, just do it like a regular swap....you will need the conversion mount if you don't want to weld in the chassis mount for the tranny(I went with the mount) and if you do a swap just remember that you need the axles for the swap, ECU and shift linkage, everything else can be salvaged fromt the manual EX, and if you need more info on the swap just hit me up...there's also some wiring you have to do at the gear box that I can help you out with also....

I did a D15B7 AUto to D16Z6 manual swap and never had to play wth any of the mounts.
All my stock D15B7 mounts fit everywhere and lined up fine. I never understood where welding had to take place.
