I ran into it when I had my integra but it was my fault and not by the way it was built

Some of the EM1's have the same problem when people use short throw's. Just a little bend in the exhaust hanger will solve the problem. I've got a DC short throw in my Si and never had a problem...

I got most of my stuff for free, thanks to all my friends. I spent around 150 for the pedals, slave, clutch and hardline(junkyard). I spent a total of 6 hours to do the conversion.

I'm about to do this conversion and I aleady have the clutch cylinder, lines and pedal in. What do you do after you take out the automatice shifter? I heard that your supposed to out it in park and somehow glue the slider in or somethin like that. How did you bolt up the shifter linkage? Are there predrilled holes there already for the MT shift linkage becuase it doesn't look like there is any. Any info or tips would be greatly apreciated.

You have to cut out the cable guide for the auto shifter, after that just cut the harness and leave some room so you can wire up 4 wires. There should be two big wires, you need to connect these two together so you can start the car, or run it to your clutch pedal switch. Then there is a green wire with white stripe you need to connect to a black wire. This is so you can take the key out. Make sure you dissconect the shift interlock, otherwise the key will still not come out. As for the shift link, you have to drill your own holes.

all in all would you say it was worth doing the conversion? I have a 2000 CIVIC EX automatic and have been thinking of doing a conversion for some time.

Yes I say it was worth it, I got a good *** deal on the car, thats why I brought it. I knew I was gonna convert it anyways so thats why I got it. If you know any of your friends getting ready to do a swap, just ask them if you could get there tranni, and some of there stuff. That way you could save some money.Got any questions pm me
