man ecu, the lower and upper tranny brackets, and the clutch and brake pedal assembly along with the master and slave cylinders for clutch. and youll need to rewire the plug that goes into the auto shifter. ie. 2 big black wires to the clutch pedal and the green and yellow wires to your reverse switch.

Are the pedals, gas, brake, clutch all the same. How about the lines from reservoir to slave are they all the same also, I mean does it matter if the donor car is a sedan or coupe.

What does an auto ecu do that it can;t do with a manual tray installed.......thanks

yes all the parts are the same, whether theyre sedan or coupe. the ecus control the fuel and spark differently from each other.

While trouble shooting problems on my D15B7 manual car , I put in a ecu from another D15B7 automatic car. It fired up and it ran fine. Drove the car around the yard only. I was thinking that maybe the ecu looked at some function of the automatic , but would run the motor the same, ie, fuel maps, timing, ect. So, you are saying, the auto ecu, from the same motor car, will not run the motor, now with a manual, correctly.

I would like there to be boxes you have to check before posting a question saying "Have you searched?" & "Have you checked the FAQ?", that where I found this.

fun swap, I have completed to swap on several chassis, heads up if you have an ek, you sill need to saw out the center console or drill out the spot welds on the brackets that hold in the auto shifter cable. eg chassis has to be the easiest to complete this swap on, ef being prolly the hardest. GOOD LUCK
