You have a automatic right now, doing the automatic to automatic swap is going to be hard,u said u have a automatic 2000 Ex, thats a 127 hp VTEC car, with the money it is going to cost to do the automatic swap around 2k + unless u got mad hookups, u can just get a turbo kit for your car and better faster then just a Ls swap, D16y8 are great engines to turbo, check out the greddy kits out, http://www.greddy.com. I was going to do the same thing u wanted to do, but i found how hard wiring the d series tranny to a b seires automatic tranny, dam it's going to be a bitch, shops will do it for u, but it takes so long and is a such a a pain in the ***, it's going to be cheaper to convert it to a 5 speed.

I know for a fact that the front tranny mount and ac bracket mount are different from the autos and manuals, dont know if this would affect your swap though.

I heard the auto LS's have a seperate control unit for the auto tranny. Can someone confirm this? Anyway, if you do decide to boost, be nice to your tranny. I have a boosted automatic d series and I had to rebuild my tranny because I decided to run 10 psi. I would recommend a tranny build up before you boost if you do decide to do it.

Automatic D Series are good to boost, but ur going to need a automatic tranny cooler and a high stall converter and a torque converter and you be all set, turn on the boost (But build that engine, sleave and pistons and rods)
22 PSI D16 getting 300hp on a SOHC. Nice

My automatic tranny lasted a little over 2 months after boosting at 8 psi. So where are you getting your information about d series automatics being good for boost? I have personally experienced it and they don't like boost.

meaning if you can get everything to fit in the engine bay you also have to get the extra part of the wiring harness from underneath the drivers side of the dash as well as the TCM from the integra and wire it up.
my question now is...like its been asked and talked about many other times....will the b18 auto fit into the engine bay without causing any major problems??? i dont want it for racing, just for a little extra power to work with (i know its less than my stock SOHC Y8 motor but it looks much nicer under the hood). someone please clarify this.
