Auto B18B swap (PLEASE HELP)

Hey Ya'll...

(did a serach and couldn't find any info)

Once again, i need help from ya'll...

I got a hold of a 2000 B18b from a friend...and my sister 's car needs a better motor anyways (cause it's burning oil big time) i figured i'll just swap it...

This is my first automatic swap...

The car :93 civic DX Automatic,
The motor : 2000 integ Ls Automatic (complete swap)

My questions is what mounts do i used? Do I use the stock mounts that comes with the B18? or do I have to get some other ones off of another Auto swap? Because for some reason I had the driver's side and rear T mount all installed...but the tranny side didn't want to line up. It was off about 1/2 inch. Tranny side tilted forward. Also tried the D-series tranny mount and the T mount...didn't work. Another problem was that the Alt. pulley was really close to the frame (about 1mm).

I must got some wrong mounts or something...PLEASE HELP...

BIG Thanks in advance...

Re: Auto B18B swap (ludicrous)

you need a manual tranny, not an auto

You either custom fab something up, or you get a B16A auto tranny and do some minor cutting.

yes, you will need some of b18 mounts to make it fit. check this thread i made a little while back for what you'll need. scroll down to the pic.

Re: Auto B18B swap (vtecb20coupe)

Thanks for the help guys.

I don't want to do any custom stuff for this swap as it's my sister daily driver. I also need to get the TCM from teh integ and wire it up and i don't want to spend to much time on it...so i'ma just get another DX motor...thanks again.

The idea was fun but at this time it's just a bit too much work...too much down time.

thanks
