auto to 5speed conversion specific
did a search but can't find exactly what I am looking for.
Need info on converting a auto 97 civic ex to 5 speed.
I am swaping to a b series motor at the same time so the parts are not a problem
I already have the hard lines, pedals, clutch mc
what I need to know is what to do about the mounts
I know in the dc and eg you have to weld in the upper trans mount
it looks like the manual trans mount will bolt right up in thes car???
what do I have to do about the shift linkage?
walding cutting or what?
what about wiring.
I am looking for very specific info on this but any help will be great!
I am doing this for a customer not myself so before anyone says to sell it and buy a 5 speed car, I would have!!!!!!
customer does not want to sell he loves his car.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: auto to 5speed conversion specific (hybridtuner)
I did a B16A swap in my friend's 96 CX hatch but his was a manual. This was the first EK I worked on but I noticed how the entire tranny mount/bracket bolts to the frame rail. I would assume that by getting the manual tranny mount/bracket it would bolt in without any modifications.
You will need to get the 99-00 Si shift linkage, or 94-01 Integra linkage will also work. The stock linkage can't be reused. I can't help you with wiring because I don't know what motor you're putting in. Just be sure to keep the stock engine harness and reuse it for the swap. Then just add whatever wires are needed to control any additional sensors straight from the sensor to the ECU.
