hey i was just woundering about the auto to 5 speed swap. ive got a friend that wants it done to his 97 civic and he has got a 93 complete car and wants to take the 5 speed out of it and wants to use that in his,my question is, will i have every thing i need from this car and will it all work. thanxs for all the help.

Dood ..just use a p28 and pull 2 resitors then your ecu will not be looking for the auto tranny.. also in my car i dont have to be in park to take the key out

yea, this is a diy job for sure. I would never pay a shop for something i can do, or learn. reguardless if anyone else is holding back on this cuase of the labor/tech.. thats what where here for. just msg me.

Did this question ever get answered? I didn't see it in the post here, but maybe off the post it did. I have seen this on HT before, but couldn't find it this time. Always find it when you don't need it.

To take the key out all you have to do is connect the two fat wires that used to go to you shifter ( I believe its a black and a yellow) and take the blue box out ( which was bolted up where you clutch pedal sits now. It will start without pressing the clutch pedal, but you can always wire it up too.

Hi! I bought 97 DX 5 speed manual tranny w/ shift linkage. I just want to know is this fit in 95 ex d6z6 automatic engine? And can I covert my auto ecu to manual? Is it possible? And what are the things that I need to complete my swap? ("just the tranny "auto to manual")I need some more info/advice from you guys before I get the parts. Because I want to make sure I'm in the right way. Thanks!

and i had a question my comp was fing up on me but obviously its not now lol

some one told me i could use the automount and a bunch of washers/spacers idk if he right or not because idk if its too low or too high
