Default Auto-5 spd car won't start

alright guys, so my friend bought an automatic hatch (eg) with the stock single that was already blown. He purchased a full ls swap (manual). We swapped over the pedals, got the tranny mount taken out and had the integra mount welded on. we installed the clutch master cylinder and ran all of the hard lines for the clutch. we then dropped the motor in with the stock harness and plugged it in to the shell. Everything was pretty straight foward. Then we put the stock shifter box into park like I've been informed to do. We currently have the stock auto ecu in there and the car will not respond when trying to crank it. The fuel pump doesn't make a noise nothing happens at all. There is this interlock assembly thing under that dash that i've been told you have to connect a paper clip or something of the sort in there. But even with all of this the car does not respond. Any help?

Is fuse 39 (50A) under the hood blown?

Check whether the ignition switch is getting battery power or then whether the switch itself may be faulty.

well when I put the key in and try to crank everything lights up the check engine, oil, battery all of the normal things that should pop up. Then when I put it to the on 2 position it just doesn't make any kind of a response.

The "interlock" is a two wire plug that needs to be shorted. It pluged into a small sensor on the side of the auto shifter. It would short if the car was in "Park", allowing the car to start.

Check your wires at/near where the auto shifter was. Check to make sure all the wiring was done (do you have reverse lights?)

Wiring in the center console should be modded in at least two of three ways:

1. Two largest wires in the auto plug shorted
2. Reverse lights hooked up

The interlock can be bypassed electronically, (the wires shorted) or physically, as shown in the below threads:

There's a (interlock) switch at the top of the clutch pedal that must be functional in order for the starter motor to get power. As mentioned, you may want check whether the switch is bad.

First, however, wire the + battery terminal directly to the starter solenoid where the Blk/Wht wire leads to. The starter should crank the engine. If so, then check the interlock switch and then the ignition switch, which may have a bad position III terminal.

If the interlock was wired to the MT Clutch assembly, then yes...but it might have been hacked at the shifter.

...It could be anything...also go ahead and convert your ECU...its pretty easy...

You are correct. I was assuming that the clutch switch was correctly installed, which may not be true.

whenever doing an auto to manual swap you have to take out the center console. and where all those wires are, you have to "jump" two wires- that is making the car think its in park that way it will start. Its like if you tried starting your auto car in D mode- it wont budge. I know this picture is really really shitty but you can kinda see what Im talking about, this is what I did with my car (ps dont buy ebay short shifters)

try this its a pretty full write up
