I got a 95 civic coupe Ex and I took off the License plate to put on a bumper grill. Well now its done and I cant bolt on the license plate b-cuz it had a nut on the inside of the bumper and when I took off the license plate they both fell and I used a magnet to find them. How would I put the license plate back on? (I need to get behind the bumnper to apply the nut onto the screw). If taking the bumper off is easy(I wouldnt know) can you tell me how to take it off and put back on the right way. Or if anyone has any better idears it would help me truely. I got to drive it tomorrow and I don't want to get a ticket, implus I don't got insurance. GRACIAS

put your plate in your Front window, its legal sweet looking and it doesnt cost you any money or time

you are worried about a cheap liscense plate ticket, when you have no insurance?? i dont know about the law there. but here a fine for no insurance is $3000. not too mention if you were in an accident and had your car totalled. or even worse, the beating you would recieve from someone like me if you ever sideswiped me while screwing with your radio. ya its happened to me before. luckily the guy was scared enough to pay for my vehicle damage.

take off the bumper.

dont put it in the window, b/c cops dont like it, and will pull you over for it if they just want to **** you off, n then find some other crap to give you a ticket.

I seriously need help....Police won't pull me over to find I don't have insurance unless they have a reason, like the license plate on the dash. ( It's illegal here )

it's illegal to have your front license plate on anywhere, except your front bumper.

zip tie it to your grill. it's secure, easy, cheap, and somewhat clean.

THNXS 4 everyones comments/advice . I took off the top two air conditioner bolts and pushed it back enough to fit my hand through and place the bolt on w/ my finger tips. So the license plate is on now . I tightened it so it wouldnt move bcuz its still dont have the left one on yet but thats good 4 now. If any one KNows how to put on the left( passenger side) screw/bolt on for the license plate it would complete my mission. THNX what a load off my back!!!!
