Default ASAP exhaust pipe is loose... do i need to replace it?

My 1996 Honda Civic EX Coupe exhaust system from the cat area is snapped apart from the tailpipe. Do I need to replace the whole thing or can i just put it back together by a torch? (gonna have to take it to a mechanic to heat/solder or whatever you call it together, can't use a clamp) Got any clues? How much would it cost most likely to get it fixed if possible?

Sorry it is night time, I don't have a camera at this moment, but made a ugly diagram...

I made a diagram.. that should explain it x.x
My dad is the one who looked down and told me that it was loose/splitted in half from the cat
It is just hanging right now.

I don't really know the number.. just know or hope I know where I can go get it fixed. What's the estimated price? like $30-$50 for reweld? (which I hope)

Well, I hope it doesn't fall off while driving though.. I have to drive about 3-5 miles to get to the mechanic zone area where I live, which is all bunched up together. should it be able to last more than 5 miles? x.x

Lol. I love the diagrams.

Re-weld should be like $20. I personally wouldn't worry about it hanging on your way to the shop. If it breaks off in the parking lot...so be it... Go back and pick it up and hand it to the guy lol.

All the shops I know were close today
I went to Firestone, they don't do mufflers.
I went to Midas, they told me to replaced a new one for around $250.
