Default Arright, just drove the civic for 14 hours straight, what do I need to do...

I have a 1994 honda civic ex coupe. I just drove from Washington DC to Alabama for school and I know that I need to do some stuff to keep her healthy. The only mods I have as far as performance right now is an intake and catback but a header will be added soon. What do I need to do/change to keep it running great after that trip. Change oil? ...? I don't know. Also, if you say change the oil, whats the best oil for my year, (pretty close to stock), civic? Brand and thickness? All help is welcome. I'm still new at this.

Change the oil. How many miles are on it? When is the last time you changed your plugs, wires, cap, rotor, or any other form of maintenance? I use Mobil 1 10w 30 in my 93 EX.

Theirs probably about 73,000 miles on it. I did a honda full service of the car about 6 months ago and it didn't move from my driveway till past december because I didn't take it to school last year. I know they changed the oil but thats it. The rotors and stuff are still stock.

Also, I know the spark plugs can go bad and wear, but the wires can wear too? I had some bosch wires and plugs on there for about 1 year so far.

Change oil.

I use Mobil 1 10w30 and a K&N filter.

Have you tuned it up lately? New plugs, cap and rotor. Also fuel filter and plug wires if it's been a really long time since the last tune up.

Check the insides of your front rims, and your axles for any leaks or tears, and grease coming out of the rubber boots. If none, they are OK.

When was the last time you changed tranny fluid/oil? If it's a manual, crain it and fill it with Honda fluid. If it's an auto, change fluid/filter (take it somewhere if you have no idea how).

Run a bottle of injector cleaner through witha full tank of premium.

Sleep.
