(archives down) help installing Energy Susp. trailing arm bushings please or link
I found great info when the archives were up. I'll be installing them this weekend. Can someone help me with tips, procedure or a link to a more detailed how to?
Thanks,
Anthony M.

torch out the old rubber, you must reuse the metal pipe thing that bolts up to the chasis. get a long bolt, like 6 inches, two 4 inch diameter washers, and a nut for the bolt. grease the bushing and line it up with the hole in the trailing arm... put the bolt through it with one of the washers against the new bushing, then thread the other washer and set it agaist the trailing arm on the opposing side if the hole in the trailing arm... put the nut on the bolt and begin tightening, it will force the bushing into the hole... no hydrolic press required
