Have you guys ever heard anything about APR Strut bars? I recently bought a strut bar from a friend of a friend. This thing is solid! The mounting points are made of solid billet aluminum. What do you guys think?

first off take that stupid intake off there and either fix it or put the stock one back on.there is no benefit from having it suck the hot air outta the engine bay.

and APR is a very good company. they sell some stronger bolts and hardware for people buliding high HP motors. thats prolly why the bar seems to be so solid, they dont f around

ARP is the bolt maker I would be thinking of. Didn't know they were into strut bar business.

First off they dont make a stock intake to fit an h23a vtec in A civic and if they did it wouldn't fit the stock 65mm throttle body, second of all ARP is a bolt company, APR I know its a race company I just wanted to know if anyone has ever used this strutbar. I have been doing swaps and engine builds on hondas for 8 years now I know the benefit of an aftermarket intake vs stock.

Ive read that tower bars that bolt together like that arent as effective as ones that are all welded such as carbing 3pt or password 3pt.

I know they look fancy, and are thick, i used to sell them about 7-8 years ago all of the time...it's a decent product. Keep in mind, a front strut bar is a limited upgrade.....sway bars are a much better performance upgrade
