Default Appointment with Smog ref. Any advise?

LoL....there is a Smog Ref at my College!!! Fullerton Community! I was shocked when I called the appointment # (1-800-622-7733)
Total cost will be $38.25 and the appointment is at 7:00am!
<--again shocked at how quickly you can make an appointment.

Anyway, if you have any little smog secrets other than run the car hard for a while to build up heat and not have any issues feel free to hook me up.

Also, I have a AEM short ram, Edelbrock Intake Manifold and a DC Sports 4-2-1 Header......I don't expect any issues since all of these parts are "Cali Smog Legal"
<---bringing Edelbrock documentation stating that the manfiold is a "factory replacement"

<----worried about his rough and slightly high idle though.

<---no fine....got Smog Test Only for Registration. Test onlys are all being bitches and saying I need a BAR sticker.

If I fail, its one more reason to get a High flow cat and block off the IACV

Coming from the guy who designed the damn thing. LoL.

Or are you referring to the idle issues. LoL

good luck with that spade let me know how it goes. im going next monday to get my b18b eg hatch certified iwth a BAR sticker.

and as a tip i don't know if you will have to do it but i know alot of people have to go to honda and have them give you a printout/readout or something stating that youre ECU is the right one, this might only be with swaped motors but since there makeing you go to the ref and you still have a SOHC im not sure why they are even making you go

I won't have to take the ECU crap cause it is the stock engine.
However, I have to go because of the header and the intake.

Per the laws, any modification should be on a bar sticker. Hopefully, they just put AEM intake on the sticker so that I can use my new AEM CAI "legally" since I have the one of the first production models and they don't have a CARB EO# yet.

aaaa i see, im throughing a stock intake on there just so i don't have to worry about them complaning about anything and since the intake is for a 99 integra ls and not my car i don't know what they would say about it. and i don't want to have to worry about it, i wish my mom could drive stick, then i send her down there and maybe they would have mercy and go easy on her. I dunno though these smog guys take there **** wayyyyyyy serously. Im going to be puting in some of the that **** that garunties you to pass, so hopefully i do, do you think they will say anything about the SAFC should i hide it or do something about it??

sorry dude not meaning to jack ur thread

i have a question about the ecu. can i pass bar witha jdm ecu? im having a hard time finding a usdm p30 for my b16. im running a p28 chipped to p30 specs. if i put a sticker with the p30 p/n on it, and showed it to the ref, would he buy it?? i wonder...

back to the topic: do a quick tuneup (spark plugs, oil change) if you really think that u might not pass
