Default Apexi WSII exhaust on a 00 EK with a B16.

Ok, here is a question for you guys who are running the Apexi WS with a B-series.

How in the work did you guys make the B-Pipe on the system link up with the cat?

I am going to go to the muffler shop tomorrow and need some suggestions about the best way to approach this issue.

The b-pipe with the apex is shorter than the stock one that I am running now. I have the muffler currently rigged to the stock b-pipe but it is not to my standards and I want it fixed.

Please any infor would be helpful. I am thinking about just having the shop add some piping to the cat and change the flange. But if there are any other suggestions I am all ears.

I had a muffler shop just weld me up a pipe from the end of my headers to the rest of the apex exhaust. The middle section on my WS was defective from the factory.the flange was welded on crooked and there was no way it would fit.

Replaced it with a straight pipe and was good to go

to my understanding this is incorrect. An SI b-pipe (which I currently have on teh car has a 3 bolt flange which bolts to the cat. The apexi b-pipe is shorter than the stock SI b-pipe and has a two bolt flange.

Oh well. thanks for you help. I am going to install it and see what needs to be done for my application.

Thanks!
