wondering if someone with some extra time could simplify the way to hook up an apexi vtec controller to 92 civic vx hatch....i searched and went to the apexi site and got the download and update but im still unsure of what goes where...any help greatly appreatiated

Wouldnt it be somewhat like installing the RSM, but instead just running the wires into the VAFC instead of just splicing onto the wire?

vTec control has been, as a group, decided useless.

ok well i wired the controller up and turned the ignition to aux. but the screen didnt light up only the buttons did... whats wrong here?what did i do? TIA

could the problem be that i have a 92 VX ecu and not the correct p28?

It depends on your mods. If you're just running an intake and header then yeah, it's not exactly something I'd go out and buy. If you're running IHE with a nice street cam and an adjustable cam gear, an A'PEXi AFC will be very beneficial because you can tune the a/f on a dyno (with a wideband) to get the most out of the setup.
