..::A'pexi Exhaust::..
I was checkin out cat-back systems for my Civic and came across an A'pexi cat-back... I've heard the name, but not a lot about the products...
It's a nice deal, not too expensive... I found the N1 system....
Just wondering if anybody's dealt with them beofre and could help me out with the good's and bad's.... Worth the money?
Thanks!!

apexi's exhaust are my favorite...they all sound and look nice as hell. i had the n1 dual tip on my 95 240sx, it was loud, low, deep...and mean! it was really nice, only thing was it was annoying. to the point where you cant hear your passengers and radio. but when its still a nice exhaust.
right now i have the apex ws on my car, its also deep and not raspy at all. it doesnt sound cheap either. i only picked this because my car is slammed..like 0 finger gap all around. and the with the n1 exhaust, the piping goes underneath the rear axle i believe..roads around here are ****...and i didnt wanna **** anything up.
how much is the one your looking at? everythings nice about it...but its pretty loud, and it hangs a bit low..

Apexi makes produces quality parts, especially their exhaust systems. I had an N1 on my hatch for about 3 years, and really liked it, it held up well to a lot of abuse, no complaints at all.

The one I'm looking at is $461.69... not too bad compared to some of the other ones I've seen online... I found it at http://www.performancecenter.com...
If you know a cheaper place, LET ME KNOW!!
Thanks for the replies!!

Re: (bm3r)
i love my n1 exhaust. just the right amount of noise while cruising. dont use a test pipe on it tho to loud. ive had it almost 3yrs now and havent had any rust problems(i live in south texas and everything rusts here) so i say if you want it get it. my only gripe was that i had to cut under my rear bumper so that the tip would not vibrate on it.

Yep, Adam gets from me. I'm currently running a few Apexi products on my hatch and have nothing but great stuff to say about the quality of their parts. I've had my N1 for over 2 years now and love it

Re: ..::A'pexi Exhaust::.. (tallblondkid)
take it from they guy above me, i have a N-1 Cat Back on my '98, it's loud but it doesnt crackle at least.
I could notice a bit of change in the performance after i put it on.
Apex-i is great, I think you should go for it.
I used to have the GT-Spec on mine but i sold it, it looked great, it was a bit quiter, but didn't bring as much power as the N-1 did.
(Just dont get the WS from Apexi, it loud and it doesnt bring in that much numbers.)

apexi is great and what not but the down side from what i hear on my car and friends is that its raspy after revs. But its very nice quality and good hp gains but if i were you i would go with the magnaflow exhaust system. its not that loud until you are at wot speeds and not raspy like the apexi n1's. its also cheaper and still looks great.

Re: (eg92b16a2)
it only sounds raspy if you use a test pipe. fact
mine with the stock cat sounds good.
mine with test pipe loud as hell and very raspy.
if you have never owned 1 or have only heard other cars dont put in useless replies.
